not so late night musing.

it just hit me that my exchange experience
will officially be over in 39 days.

seriously?!?!
feels just like yesterday when i still had months before coming here.

it's not that i don't wanna go home.
i do, i miss everyone and everything in sg
and i can't wait to do all the catching up.

it's different here.
a different sort of independence,
a situation that i've never been thrown into and got to experience before.

and i like it,
i love it.

not to say that i have no freedom back in sg, i do.
but yeah, it's just a different sort of freedom and independence.

physical, mental, emotional.
literally, figuratively.

part of me thinks (and kinda hopes, actually) that i will go back
slightly, somewhat different.
(and no i am definitely not referring to "fatter" LOL)

and for all those doubts & fears i had before coming,
i'm glad i stuck with this opportunity.
