Something I came across today, food for thought:

There is a large difference between unconditional love and unconditional acceptance, and just because you are loved doesn’t mean you are accepted.

We always talk about unconditional love, but I think we often forget that love with no acceptance, doesn't do much in itself. A statement to ponder.
